The Poets of Fresno: Summer Reading Series, 2010 was the idea of Fresno poets Stephen Barile and Mike Cole who were looking for a way to support the efforts of the non-profit Tebot Press to publish Fresno poets and, in the process, to stage some quality poetry events in Fresno over the summer.
In the course of the three readings more than 20 established and up-and-coming Fresno poets will read their poetry in two-hour events (with an intermission between hours).
The Revue Cafe has made their beautiful performance area available for the readings and will be selling beverages and food from their normal menu. The space accomodates an audience of roughly 100.
